AI-POWERED EMBROIDERY ENGINE

Other digitizers trace pixels.
Ours understands design.

The first embroidery digitizer powered by visual AI. It doesn't just see edges — it recognizes badges, reads text, detects fabric needs, and checks its own work. Upload any image, download machine-ready files in seconds.

PROPRIETARY AI ENGINE

Six layers of intelligence.
Zero guesswork.

Every design passes through our multi-stage AI pipeline. Each stage makes decisions a traditional auto-digitizer can't — because it actually understands what it's looking at.

Visual Intelligence

Visual Intelligence

Proprietary Vision AI

Our AI doesn't just see pixels — it recognizes what your design is. A circular badge gets different treatment than a text monogram. A mascot illustration gets different settings than a geometric logo.

Precision Extraction

Precision Extraction

Advanced Computer Vision

Sub-pixel contour tracing with geometric shape detection. Circles stay circular. Rectangles stay straight. Curves maintain their smoothness. Real mathematical precision.

0.1mm accuracy

Adaptive Stitch Engine

Adaptive Stitch Engine

Tatami + Satin + Running

Large areas get tatami fill with 1/3-offset woven texture. Narrow bands and text get glossy satin zigzag. Fine details get precise running stitch. Auto-selected per region.

3 stitch algorithms
04
Professional Underlay

Professional Underlay

Multi-layer foundation

Edge-run underlay as a boundary wall, tatami underlay for fabric stabilization, center-run for satin columns. The hidden stitches that separate amateur from professional.

Up to 3 underlay layers

Fabric-Aware Output

Fabric-Aware Output

8 fabric presets

Cotton tees, stretchy polos, thick fleece, structured caps — each fabric pulls thread differently. Our engine adjusts density, pull compensation, and underlay weight for your specific material.

AI Quality Gate

AI Quality Gate

Automated QA scoring

Before you download, our AI compares the generated embroidery against your original design. Shape accuracy, color coverage, text readability — all scored 1-10. Below threshold? Auto-adjusts and regenerates.

WHY AI MATTERS

Traditional auto-trace vs. Figitize AI

Every other auto-digitizer runs the same basic pipeline: threshold → trace → fill. They process every image identically. Here's what happens when you add intelligence.

Traditional auto-digitizer

  • ⚙️ Sees pixels and edges
  • ⚙️ Traces contours with fixed threshold
  • ⚙️ Applies same fill to everything
  • ⚙️ One density for all fabrics
  • ⚙️ No underlay or basic single-layer
  • ⚙️ No quality verification
  • ⚙️ Background by color threshold only
  • ⚙️ Text often lost or distorted

Figitize AI engine

  • 🧠 Understands design type and context
  • 🎯 Sub-pixel tracing with shape detection
  • 🧵 Tatami, satin, running — auto-selected
  • 👕 8 fabric presets with adaptive compensation
  • 🏗️ Multi-layer professional underlay
  • AI quality gate with auto-retry
  • 🧠 AI knows inside vs outside background
  • ✏️ Text detection with satin lettering
UNDER THE HOOD

Built for machines. Tuned for fabric.

FILL PATTERN
Tatami with 1/3 offset

Woven texture eliminates visible parallel lines. Industry-standard fill.

PULL COMPENSATION
0.15mm — 0.5mm

Adapts per fabric. Extends stitches to compensate for thread tension.

STITCH DENSITY
3.0 — 6.0 lines/mm

Auto-adjusted by complexity, fabric, and quality tier.

UNDERLAY
Edge + Tatami + Center

Up to 3 layers of foundation stitching for stability.

STITCH LENGTH
0.5mm min — 7mm max

Enforced limits prevent thread breaks. Auto-subdivided.

PATH OPTIMIZATION
Nearest-neighbor routing

Minimizes jump stitches and trims between regions.

ANGLE VARIATION
6-angle rotation pattern

Adjacent regions use different angles to prevent distortion.

AI vs Manual Digitizing: What Actually Works

Questions & answers

What makes Figitize different from other auto-digitizers?

We use proprietary visual AI that understands what your design is — not just its pixels. It detects design types (badge, logo, text), selects appropriate stitch types per region, adjusts for your fabric, and verifies quality before you download. Traditional auto-digitizers apply identical processing to every image.

Which embroidery machines are compatible?

All of them. We export PES (Brother/Babylock), DST (Tajima/universal), JEF (Janome/Elna), EXP (Melco), HUS (Husqvarna Viking), VP3 (Pfaff), and XXX (Singer). If your machine reads any of these formats, Figitize has you covered.

How is the quality compared to manual digitizing?

For clean logos, text, and simple artwork — very close. We use the same stitch techniques professionals use: tatami fill with offset, multi-layer underlay, pull compensation, and satin for lettering. Complex photorealistic designs still benefit from a human digitizer.

What image formats do you accept?

PNG, JPG, SVG, and WebP up to 25MB. Vector files (SVG) produce the sharpest results, but raster images work great too. Our AI automatically removes backgrounds and isolates design elements.

What does the AI Quality Gate do?

After generating your embroidery file, our AI compares it against your original image. It checks shape accuracy, color coverage, text readability, and proportions — scoring 1-10. If the score is below threshold, it automatically adjusts settings and regenerates for better results.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Upload, preview, pay, and download — no account required. No subscriptions, no monthly fees. Just $1.99 per design.
